Grand Master’s Labor Day 2025 Message

My Brothers, On this Labor Day, we pause to honor the dignity of work and the men and women whose labor strengthens our communities, sustains our families, and builds our future. It is a day not only of rest, but of reflection—reminding us that the fruits of labor are not measured in wealth alone, but in service, integrity, and purpose. As Masons, we are taught to see labor not as a burden, but as a sacred duty. The rough ashlar is only made perfect through patient work; the Lodge only thrives when each Brother offers his skill, his time, and his heart to the common good. In our Craft, labor is an emblem of devotion—whether to God, to Country, to Family, or to one another. Let us use this day to reaffirm that the greatest work we perform is not for ourselves, but for the generations who will inherit what we build. May we labor in love, rest in gratitude, and rise tomorrow renewed in our commitment to be true Builders. Wishing you and your families a safe, joyful, and meaningful Labor Day. With kind brotherly love, I remain, Bro. Steve Steven Adam Rubin Grand Master
