Dear Brethren,

It is hard to believe but we are in the middle of the Winter Season with Spring just a few weeks away. And soon we will be celebrating Presidents Day.

Many patriotic and historical groups use this date for staging celebrations, reenactments and other events. In fact, we had one just last weekend at our DeWitt House in Tappan, NY. As we get closer to Presidents Day we hear more of the accomplishments of our Presidents with a focus on George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. As always it is a time to reflect on how fortunate we are to live in a country where we can freely recognize our patriotic heritage and plan our future.

On behalf of myself, Nancy, our Deputy Grand Master RW Richard J. Kessler and Joanne, and the entire elected and appointed members of the Grand Line and their ladies, your local District Deputies, Staff Officers, Assistant Grand Lecturers and their ladies, as well as the Worshipful Masters and officers of each lodge in our jurisdiction, we are all pleased to join together in this message.

In addition, let us implore the Great Architect of the Universe to protect the members of our Armed Forces as they are protecting us, wherever in the world they may be serving as well as all our domestic First Responders, and our Brothers and Sisters all over the world. May He keep them safe and out of harm’s way so they can continue their important efforts and bring them home safely to their families and friends!

Sincerely and Fraternally,

MW William M. Sardone
