Spring is officially upon us. We are in the midst of the Easter Season. Passover is days away.
It is a time when we wish our Jewish brethren and their families a “Zissen Pesach” and a Blessed Easter for all our Christian brethren and their families.
It is a time when we gather as friends and families in our homes and places of worship. But these are different times. Covid-19 may have taken away our ability to gather in person, but not our ability to gather emotionally.
When faced with uncertainty, we adapt. Virtual worship services may be the new normal, but faith continues to endure.
On behalf of myself, Nancy, our Deputy Grand Master RW Richard J. Kessler and Joanne, the entire elected and appointed members of the Grand Line, their ladies, your local District Deputies, Staff Officers, Assistant Grand Lecturers and their ladies, as well as the Worshipful Masters and officers of each lodge in our jurisdiction, we wish you a safe holiday season.
In addition, let us implore the Great Architect of the Universe to protect the members of our Armed Forces as they protect us, wherever in the world they may be serving, especially our First Responders. May He keep them safe and out of harm’s way so they can continue their important efforts and bring them home safely to their families and friends!
Sincerely and Fraternally,
Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York
