My Brothers,

As the Labor Day Weekend approaches, let us remember it is an annual national tribute to the contribution’s workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. We as masons and our families are integral in our country’s success.

It is back to school for our children, but not back to lodge since you have all been very busy over the summer months. Meetings, picnics, degrees, more picnics, fairs and yes, more picnics. It is a great to see all of you enjoying your time together.

The end of September brings the New Year to our Jewish brothers and families. “La Shona Tovah” to all them. May they, as well as all our brothers, their families, and friends, all be inscribed in the Book of Life.

We will all be together on October 5, 2019 for our Grand Lodge Session in Utica, NY. Rooms are quickly filling up as we make history together. We will seal our time capsule, cement it in the walls of our Horticultural Center and open one from 100 years ago.

On behalf of myself, Nancy, our Deputy Grand Master R∴W∴ Richard J. Kessler and Joanne, the entire elected and appointed members of the Grand Line and their ladies, your District Deputies, Staff Officers, Assistant Grand Lecturers and their ladies, I wish you all a Happy Labor Day Weekend.

Let us implore the Great Architect of the Universe to protect the members of our Armed Forces, and our brave Police Officers, Firefighters, and other First Responders, wherever they may be service, and may he bring them all back home to their families and friends, out of harm’s way healthy and safely!

Sincerely and Fraternally,

William M. Sardone
Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York
