Grand Master
MW WILLIAM M. SARDONE

William M. Sardone was the 1st NY DeMolay State Master Councilor of the combined Jurisdictions, and a Past Master of Equality Lodge in the Bronx, NY and Composite Lodge in the 1st Manhattan District. He is a Past Grand Master of the Global Organization DeMolay International, an Honorary Member of Great Kills Lodge, Queensbury and Huguenot Lodges, the 1st Kings Masonic District, Niagara Frontier Masonic War Veterans as well as Five International Grand Lodges. He is an Honorary Member of Royal Arch in Paraguay, Shrine in Connecticut, DeMolay in Brazil, Italy and Paraguay. Brother Sardone is a member of Mecca Shrine, Royal Arch, Red Cross of Constantine, Commandery, Cryptic Masons, Scottish Rite, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and DeMolay International. Brother Sardone is a Past Commander of Knights Templar and was awarded the Honorary Knight Commander of the Temple. He is designated to receive the 33rd Degree in the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of Scottish Rite. Brother Sardone has been the Chairman and member of several Grand Lodge Committees prior to his election as Grand Master.

Having served on numerous boards, Brother Sardone is currently on the board of a health care initiative for the Country of Jamaica. Brother Sardone is retired from AT&T and retired from the United States Army as a Master Sergeant.

Deputy Grand Master
RW RICHARD J. KESSLER

Richard J. Kessler was raised in April 1993 at Occidental Lodge No. 766. He is happily married to Joanne for 41 years. They are the proud parents of two adult sons; Christopher and Jeffrey. Upon being Raised, RW Kessler immediately went into line and presided as Worshipful Master in 2000. W Christopher Kessler, the eldest was raised in 2003 followed his father’s footstep as both Master of his Lodge and High Priest of his Royal Arch Chapter. RW Kessler also served as Secretary of his Lodge for 14 years. He became very active in the district and served as President of the Wardens, Masters, Past Masters, and Purple Associations. His work in the district enabled him to serve as DDGM of the First Erie District in 2006. RW Kessler also served the Grand Lodge as Grand Lecturer from 2014 – 2018. In 2017 RW Kessler was the recipient of the Wendell Walker Builder of Men Award.

RW Kessler is also a member of the Valley of Buffalo, AASR where he served as the Sovereign Prince Palmoni Council, Princes of Jerusalem. He was also served as Treasurer of the Valley of Buffalo for four years. He is currently a Director of New York State Scottish Rite Charities. He is a recipient of the Meritorious Service Award from the New York State Council of Deliberations and was coroneted a 33rd Degree Mason, Honorary Member Supreme Council AASR.

RW Kessler is also active in the York Rite. He served as Excellent High Priest: of Tonawanda Keystone Chapter No. 71 and Most Excellent High Priest NYRAM in 2013. He served as Illustrious Master – 2005 and Treasurer: 2006 – 2018 in Buffalo Keystone Council Cryptic Masons. He is a recipient Order of the Secret Vault from General Grand Council Cryptic Masons International and the Ish Sodi Award. He is also active in Commandery serving as Commander in 2011 and then Recorder of Lake Erie form 2012 – 2018. RW Kessler also served successfully in 2005 and 2006 as Monarch of Zuleika Grotto No. 10. He is also a member of many Invitational Bodies and is a recipient of the Order of Purple Cross (York Rite equivalent of 33°) Knight York Grand Cross Honor (KYGCH). He is currently serving as Deputy Grand Governor of New York in the York Rite Sovereign College.

Senior Grand Warden
RW CHARLES M. ROBERTS

Charles M. Roberts, a resident of Rochester, New York, was born in Granville, NY and was the sixth of seven children of the late George & Frances Roberts of Granville. He grew up in Lansingburg (N. Troy) and Cohoes, NY. A graduate of Lansingburgh High School; Hudson Valley Community College (AAS); Siena College of Loudonville, NY (BS); Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Pittsburgh, PA (M. Div.); Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, GA (D. Min.). His working career began as a Senior Chemical Technician at Hudson Valley Community College and then was a College Teacher at the same Community College before entering the ministry. He was ordained a Deacon (1973) and an Elder (1978) in the First United Presbyterian Church of Troy, NY. He was ordained a Presbyterian Minister in June 1982 by Albany Presbytery. He has been a Presbyterian Minister for 36 years. He has served two congregations as Pastor: Leicester Union Presbyterian Church, Leicester, NY for nearly eight and half years and presently serving the John Knox Presbyterian Church in the township of Greece, NY for 28 years.

Brother Roberts was raised a Master Mason on April 29, 1974, in the former Jerusalem Lodge No. 355 of the then Rensselaer-Schenectady Masonic District. He served as Master for the first time in 1978. A Past Master of Mt. Morris Lodge No. 122 known now as Genesee Valley Lodge No. 122. He has served the Grand Lodge of NY as a Grand Chaplain since 1990, a District Deputy Grand Master in 1996-98 before his election as Senior Grand Warden. Brother Roberts is an avid and active participate in all York and Scottish Rite bodies and many numerous invitational Masonic Bodies. He has been a Presiding Officer in nearly all the bodies he has affiliated with. He is the holder of the Order of the Purple Cross of the Sovereign College of North America and the Honorary Thirty-Third Degree of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction. He has served as Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of the State of NY and Right Eminent Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of the State of NY. He is a Grand Chaplain of the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons of the State of NY. He serves as a Grand Chaplain for the General Grand Council Cryptic Masons International. He is a recipient of numerous Masonic recognitions and awards for ritual and service from many bodies and most recently the Wendell K. Walker Builder of Men Award of the Grand Lodge of NY.

Charles (Chuck) and Leslie his wife of forty-three years are blessed with two grown children Crystal Marie and Joshua Jason. Their daughter Crystal is married to Timothy Robinson and they have two daughters, Makayla and Kassandra. The Roberts are devoted to their family and spend much time with their granddaughters and extended family when not attending to the labors of the Craft.

Junior Grand Warden
RW ELQUEMEDO O. ALLEYNE

E. Oscar Alleyne is of Walden, New York is the Junior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in the State of New York. Raised in Wallkill Lodge No. 627 in Orange Rockland District, he served in 2014-2016 as Master of Wappingers Lodge No.671 in the Dutchess District.

He enjoys being active in the Craft. He is the Past Commander in Chief and Past Sovereign Prince of the Scottish Rite Valley of the Hudson and served as the first Grand Superintendent for the State of New York of the Grand Council of the Allied Masonic Degrees USA. He is a Fellow of the Philalethes Society and is the 2nd VP of the Board and Fellow of the Masonic Society. He is also the Regional Treasurer for the Operatives USA. He lectures internationally on historical, ritualistic, philosophical, leadership and other topics of Masonic interest and is a member of several Masonic research and invitational bodies.

He holds a Doctorate from the New York Medical College and is a Senior Advisor for Public Health programs at the National Association of County and City Health Officials in Washington, DC. There he is responsible for providing executive leadership, strategic visioning, senior management and technical assistance to the country’s 3,000 local governmental public health departments. He directly oversees a portfolio of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control, Public Health, Pandemic and Catastrophic Preparedness, and Public Health Informatics. He interfaces directly with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, FDA, USDA, EPA and several other national agencies. Previously he was the Director of Epidemiology & Public Health Planning for the Rockland County Department of Health where he was responsible for investigating and monitoring all disease outbreaks for a population of 312, 000 residents. He guided strategic planning and collaboration building with county, State, federal officials and nongovernmental local organizations to implement several community health initiatives helping Rockland County to become ranked as No.1 among all counties in New York in 2015.

A published author, subject matter expert and scientific presenter in the field of applied epidemiology, health policy and public health, he served as President, Chair and active Board Member of several professional Public Health Associations and is a faculty member/lecturer/presenter at a number of undergraduate and graduate educational institutions.

Grand Treasurer
RW STEVEN ADAM RUBIN

Brother Steven Adam Rubin is a former Assistant District Attorney in New York City. Admitted to the Bar in 1989, Steven obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1988 from Albany Law School of Union University where he was President of the Student Bar Association and Associate Editor of a Law School Publication. A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Brother Rubin received his BA Degree in 1985. Bro. Steven has been a practicing attorney for thirty (30) years and is Principal in Steven Adam Rubin & Associates pllc, a litigation law firm representing persons harmed through the negligent, careless, or wrongful acts of another, with Offices in Masonic Hall, New York City.

Bro. Steven is a member of Goldenrule Clermont McKinley Lodge No. 486 of the First Manhattan District and Old Town Lodge No. 908 of the Suffolk Masonic District. In addition to being a three-time Past Master, a Past Treasurer, and Past Trustee, Bro. Steven is a Past Excellent High Priest of Zerubbabel Chapter No. 147, Royal Arch Masons. Bro. Steven is also a proud member of the Valley of New York City, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite for the Northern Jurisdiction; Adelphic Council No. 7, Cryptic Masons; Mecca Shrine No. 1, Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and Azim Grotto No. 7, Mystic Order of Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm.

From 2006 until 2015, Bro. Steven served as Proctor of the Grand Lodge, F & AM of the State of New York. He has served as Judge Advocate to the Grand Master from 2015 to 2018; and Judge Advocate to the Grand High Priest, Grand Chapter State of New York, Royal Arch Masons, since 2015. He is a past member of the Grand Lodge Finance Committee and currently sits on its Constitutions Committee. He is also is a recipient of the CHARLES H. JOHNSON MEDAL and the CHANCELLOR ROBERT R LIVINGSTON MEDAL.

He resides in Manhattan with his lovely wife of twenty-seven (27) years, Mojdeh, and their two children.

Grand Secretary
RW RICHARD T. SCHULZ

Richard Schulz is a Mason over 30 years, being Raised in Queensboro Lodge No. 892 (Queens District) in 1987. He served as Master in 1992-1993. After his term as Master, he became Secretary, serving 25 years in this capacity until this year. From 1996-98, he was the District Deputy Grand Master of the Second Queens District, serving under MW Earle J. Hino, Jr..

In 1998, he was appointed to the Grand Lodge Convention Committee and worked that year on the World Conference of Grand Masters, which was held in New York City. In 2006, he was appointed Vice Chairman of the Convention Committee before being appointed Chairman in 2012 by MW James Sullivan.

Rich is also a Senior DeMolay, having received his Degrees in Ridgewood Chapter, Order of DeMolay in 1970. He became a member of the DeMolay Legion of Honor (Active) in 2004. Rich is a member of several Concordant Bodies. Rich is a Shriner, being a member of Kismet Temple, AAONMS, of Long Island. He was on the Kismet Divan, where he served as Treasurer in 2001-2004. Many Shriners will remember Rich as Jellybean as he was an accomplished clown for more than 10 years, winning awards at various Shrine ‘Clownaramas’.

Richard’s professional life began in 1978 after graduating Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Statistics. He joined Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) in the Actuarial Department and passed several Actuarial exams. He subsequently earned a Master’s of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics from Hunter College. Over the past 40 years, Rich worked in various departments and capacities at ISO related to Property Casualty ratemaking products and services for insurance companies and other entities.

Rich is married to his childhood sweetheart, Grayce, for the past 42 years. Grayce is a former Triangle girl. They both grew up in Ridgewood, a working-class community in Queens, where they continue to live and own an attached two-family brick home. They have two beautiful daughters – Lucy (33 years old) and Sara (32 years old) – and two beautiful granddaughters – Leah (13 years old) and Eva (8 years old).
