My Brothers,

All of us continue to hang on to every new announcement regarding social distancing, etc. I am pleased to see that health guidelines are moving in the right direction.

While we continue to observe Covid Protocols I am also seeing numerous lodges meeting again and conferring initiations. Lots of initiations.

Today we celebrate the day Brother George Washington took his first oath of office as President of the United States. This took place at Federal Hall in Manhattan. We normally would have had a reenactment at that same location as in other years. Covid changed those plans. Masonry Doesn’t Stop so we adjusted and filmed this with all the actors. R.˙.W.˙. Ed Bartels, Bro. Kevin Bartels, and Mrs. Cathie Bartels made this possible with the support of our Trustees for the use of the Grand Lodge Room.

St. Johns Lodge brought the original bible, and our Library brought a handwritten letter from Brother Washington.

This reenactment can be seen HERE.

I thank you for your continued patience and support. I am very proud of you.

Sincerely and fraternally,

William M. Sardone
Grand Master
