Brethren,

We are pleased to announce that you will be able to submit your 2007 Certificate of Election electronically. The process has been greatly improved, and has met with the approval of the Grand Secretary's office. The new form will be activated in time for you to submit your COE after Grand Session.

To enter your certificate of election on the menu go to: Lodge -> Certificates of Election.

This will bring you to a screen listing any COE that are currently stored in MORI. At the bottom of the list there is an "add" button. Click the "add" button and you will be presented with the new electronic COE.

2007 Dues Cards

The card stock for the new 2007 members' Dues Cards are being printed by our supplier as we write this message. We should have the card stock from the printer by the end of next week and we will begin printing the individual Dues Cards for each Lodge. We plan to mail the Dues Cards using Priority Mail with Delivery Signature/Confirmation to each Lodge Secretary as they are printed in batches commencing one to two weeks from today.

The delay was caused by design changes that created some technical problems.

Now that the problems have been solved, we are going to get a jump on the Dues Cards for 2008, which will be printed within the first quarter of 2007. We anticipate mailing the 2008 Dues Cards as soon as your 2006 Annual Returns have been successfully audited (beginning March/April 2007)

Grand Lodge Installation Videos

At our Grand Session in May the installation of officers was filmed and is now available to be viewed online. These videos are available in sizes convenient for those using modems, and higher resolution versions for those using cable and DSL connections.

Grand Master of Masons in the State of New York

M.·.W.·. Edward Gilbert of South Buffalo has been elected and installed as Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons, State of New York. The Grand Master is the highest elected official in the leadership of the 54,000 member Masonic fraternity in New York State. He will be traveling extensively representing the Grand Lodge at Masonic and community events throughout the state.
