Operation Send Off

Understanding that this may not always be feasible in real time, we do recommend that, when possible, as Brothers or their family members, are either called to active duty or shipped out, their fellow Lodge members and other local Masons try to see them off to their assignments as a sign of support. If the departure is taking place in a local area and if it is appropriate, the departing Brother's Lodge is strongly encouraged to send a contingent to participate in the departure ceremonies. We also recommend providing each Brother with some type of gift or token which may include some type of Masonic memento to mark the occasion, a care package, etc.
