DORIC ROOM

Beginning with the key motif in the ceiling design, the Greek theme is carried forward in a series of six repeated plaster frieze scenes which band the top of the walls.

The original marble pedestals in the East, West and South have been completely restored, and they provide a rich green and white coloring, picked up in the deep green carpet.

Dominating features are two sets of columns: gold leaf in the East; copper leaf in the West, both accomplished with the unique process developed by Fine Art Decorating.
